Hay una canción de Taylor Swift que me gusta bastante llamada New Year’s Day. En esta canción hay unos versos que quisiera hoy compartir con ustedes, dicen lo siguiente:
…Don’t read the last page, but I stay when you’re lost, and I’m scared, and you’re turning away
…Don’t read the last page, but I stay when it’s hard, or it’s wrong, or we’re making mistakes
Si lo traducimos al español dicen algo así:
…No leas la última página, pero me quedo cuando estás perdido, y tengo miedo, y te estás alejando
…No leas la última página, pero me quedo cuando es difícil, o está mal, o estamos cometiendo errores
Estos versos me gustan mucho y me recuerdan como a todos nos encantaría el tener a alguien en nuestras vidas que pudiera cantar esos versos a nuestro corazón, dando la seguridad a nuestro corazón de que habrá alguien que se quedará con nosotros hasta el final, aún en los momentos más oscuros y difíciles; alguien que se quedará con nosotros en aquellos momentos cuando la vida es sacudida por tormentas fuertes; alguien que se quedará con nosotros cuando nos sentimos perdidos, confundidos, asustados; o alguien que se quedará con nosotros cuando estamos totalmente enredados en nuestros errores y problemas. Sin duda, que bien se siente el tener alguien a nuestro lado asegurándonos que se quedará con nosotros sin importar lo que venga, o lo difícil que se puedan poner las cosas en algún momento.
Bueno, pues hoy tengo una muy buena noticia a tu corazón con respecto a eso, una noticia que te alegrará sin duda, pues hay alguien que de hecho hace exactamente eso, y ese es Dios, y ¡Él lo hace mejor que nadie!
Recuerdo una vez que escuchaba esta canción y la cantaba mientras hacía algo en la cocina, y pensaba en esos versos, y pensaba en lo hermoso que sería escuchar a alguien cantarlos para mí. Pensaba en lo hermoso que es ser esa persona que se queda cuando nadie más lo hace, y que quiere estar allí junto a ti en todo tiempo, en los tiempos buenos y los no tan buenos también, siempre a tu lado. Y recuerdo que en ese momento recordé que en mi vida había alguien muy especial que de hecho hace eso, y ese alguien es mi Dios. Él está conmigo siempre, y Él está conmigo cuando quizás nadie más puede estar. Él se queda conmigo sin importar lo difícil que se puedan poner a veces las cosas, Él siempre está allí amándome de manera incondicional, siempre Bueno, Fiel, y Tierno para conmigo, y me sentí tan afortunada en ese momento.
Y así como Dios se ha mostrado con un amor fiel e incondicional a mi vida, y se ha mostrado como Aquel que está a mi lado sin importar las circunstancias que viva, también Él quiere mostrarse de esa misma manera a tu vida hoy, y todos los días de tu vida.
No importa lo que estés atravesando, Dios quiere que sepas que Él está allí contigo y que Él te entiende mejor que nadie. Él está dispuesto a mostrarse a tu vida como ese Dios Bueno, Fiel y Tierno, que tanto tu corazón necesita. Él te ama de manera incondicional, y está siempre dispuesto a abrazar tu vida y llenarla con su amor, si así se lo permites. ¡Que tremenda y buena noticia es esa! ¡No estamos solos! ¡Dios está con nosotros y por nosotros! ¡Dios nos ama, y nos ama con amor eterno e incondicional!
Sí, Él se queda con nosotros cuando estamos perdidos, confundidos, asustados, cometiendo errores, o hemos fracasado en algo. Él se queda con nosotros cuando nos sentimos desesperados o sin fuerzas. Y Él se queda a nuestro lado no sólo como un espectador, claro que no, Él nos ayuda, abraza, consuela, recoge nuestras lágrimas, y nos da fuerzas nuevas, cada vez que pedimos que venimos a Él. Él nunca es indiferente a lo que vivimos o sentimos, nuestro Dios es un Dios Bueno, mas nunca cruel o insensible. ¡Él es el mejor compañero de vida que podemos tener hoy y siempre!
Y ya para cerrar, también quería compartirte que así como Dios está con nosotros siempre, Él también quiere poner en nuestras vidas a personas buenas y correctas que caminen junto a nosotros en los diferentes momentos de la vida, porque Él sabe que lo necesitamos. No tenemos que enfrentar los problemas solos, de hecho nunca fuimos creados para vivir la vida en solitario o solos, y Él tampoco se olvida de esto, entonces no dejemos de pedirle a Dios por personas de bendición en nuestras vidas, y cuando Dios las traiga, no dudemos en dejarlas entrar a nuestras vidas, y vivamos esta vida apoyándonos y ayudándonos unos a otros en todo lo que nos sea posible.
No se si has visto las película o leído los libros de El Señor de los Anillos, pero bueno en esta historia hay dos personajes, uno llamado Frodo y otro llamado Sam. A Frodo se le encomienda una tarea importante que conlleva una gran responsabilidad y carga de por medio, llena de riesgos y desafíos enormes, pero a Sam también se le encomienda una tarea igual de importante diría yo, pues a él se le encomienda el acompañar en esta aventura a Frodo y a no dejarlo solo, y Sam decide hacerlo fielmente y lo hace hasta el final, ¡es impresionante la lealtad y el amor con el cual lo hace! Y bueno, no contaré más detalles por si no has visto las películas y quieres verlas después de haber leído esta publicación, pero el punto es que así como Frodo necesitaba de Sam y de otros para poder llevar a cabo la tarea que le había sido encomendada, y no la habría podido realizar jamás solo, también nosotros necesitamos en la vida primero de Dios, de Él dependeremos siempre en todo, y Él no nos dejará nunca solos, pero también necesitamos de las personas que Dios pone en nuestras vidas para caminar juntos en esta aventura llamada vida, y en esta emocionante aventura de fe de seguir a Jesús.
Y ya cerrando, te comparto estos versos de la Biblia, espero puedas abrazarlos en lo profundo de tu corazón siempre:
¿Pero acaso se olvida la mujer del hijo que dio a luz? ¿Acaso deja de compadecerse del hijo de su vientre? Tal vez ella lo olvide, pero yo nunca me olvidaré de ti.

I love these lyrics! These remind me how every person in this world is longing to have someone in their lives who can gives them the security and certainty that there will be someone who will stay with them until the end, even in the darkest hours and most difficult times in life; someone who will stay with them in those moments when life is shaken by strong storms; someone who will stay with them when they feel lost, confused, scared; or someone who will stay with them when they are completely entangled in their mistakes and problems. Undoubtedly, how good it feels to have someone by our side giving us the assurance that they will stay with us no matter what, even when things may get difficult!
Well, today I have some good news to your heart about it, that will make your heart smiles! Because there is someone who actually does that, and that’s our God, and He does it better than anyone!
I remember one time when I was doing something in the kitchen while I was listening to this song and I began to think about the lyrics of the song. I thought about how beautiful it would be to hear someone to sing those sweet lyrics to my heart. I thought about how beautiful it is to be that person who stays when no one else does, and who wants to be there with you at all times, in the good times and the not so good times as well, always by your side. And in that moment I remembered that there was someone very special in my life who actually does that, and that someone is my God. He is always with me and He is with me even when perhaps no one else can be. He stays with me no matter how difficult things can get sometimes and He is always there loving me unconditionally, always Good, Faithful, and Tender to me. And I felt so lucky when I thought about it!
And just as God has shown Himself in my life with unconditional and unfailing love, and as the One who is always by my side no matter what, He also wants to show in your life in that same way, today and always!
No matter what you’re going through, God wants you to know that He is there with you and that He understands you better than anyone! He wants to show Himself in your life as the Good, Faithful and Tender God that He is! He loves you unconditionally, and He is always willing to fill your life with this love if you let him do it! What tremendous and good news is that! We are not alone! God is with us and for us! God loves us with unfailing and unconditional love!
And yes! He stays with us when we’re lost, confused, scared, making mistakes, or we have failed at something! He stays with us when we feel desperate or powerless! And He stays by our side not only as a spectator, of course not, He helps us, hold us, comforts us, and gives us new strength every time we need it and we come to Him. He is never indifferent or insensitive to what we’re living or feeling, our God is a Good God, never cruel or insensitive. He is the best life partner we can have today and always!
Finally, I also wanted to share with you that just as God is always with us, He also wants to bring good and right people into our lives who can walk by our side in the different moments of life, because He knows that we need it. We don’t have to face problems alone, in fact we were never created to live this life alone or on our own, and He doesn’t forget this, so let’s keep asking God for good and right people into our lives who can walk by our side in the different seasons or moments in life, and let’s live this life supporting and helping each other however is possible.
I don’t know if you’ve had the opportunity to read the books or watch the movies based in The Lord of the Rings, but in this amazing story there are two characters, one named Frodo and another named Sam. Frodo is entrusted with an important task that carries great responsibility and burden, full of risks and enormous challenges, but Sam is also entrusted with an equally important task I would say, since he is entrusted to go with Frodo in this adventure and to be by his side and not to leave him alone, and Sam decides to do it faithfully and he does it until the end. How impressive is the love and loyalty with which he does it! And well, I won’t tell you more details in case you haven’t watched the movies and you’d like to do it after reading this post, but the point is that just as Frodo needed Sam and others to be able to carry out this important task and he would’ve never been able to do it alone, we also need first God, we will always depend on Him in everything, and He will never leave us alone for sure, but we also need the people that God brings into our lives to walk by our side in this adventure called life, and in this exciting faith adventure of following Jesus.
Lastly, I’d like to share these Bible verses with you, which I hope you can keep in your heart always:
