Ya estamos a pocos días de la Navidad, y es increíble como este año ha transcurrido tan rápido. Sin duda ha sido un año lleno de cosas nuevas para mí, y un año para gustar una vez más de la bondad y fidelidad de Dios sobre mi vida. Ha sido un año con alegrías y momentos hermosos, pero también con desafíos y temporadas difíciles en otras ocasiones, pero en cada uno de estos momentos he podido ver al Señor conmigo y Él ha continuado glorificando Su nombre en diferentes maneras. ¡Nuestro Dios es tan bueno!
Las personas que me conocen de cerca saben cuanto amo la Navidad, amo los colores, luces, música, películas, tradiciones, y mucho más que viene con la temporada. Pero lo que más amo sin duda es que celebramos a Jesús y Su extraordinaria venida a este mundo. Uno de los acontecimientos más grandes en la historia de la humanidad es la venida de nuestro Señor Jesús al mundo por amor a cada uno de nosotros, y reflexionando en eso pensaba en la dulce alegría, paz y esperanza al corazón que esto representa, y las palabras no alcanzan y quedan cortas para expresar todo lo que significa. Y entre las tantas cosas que Jesús vino a traer a la humanidad, pensaba en que vino a revelar a Dios al hombre, y revelar el corazón de Dios al hombre, y eso es un privilegio y regalo enorme.
El tener la oportunidad de conocer al Dios vivo y verdadero que nos creó a cada uno de nosotros y todo lo que existe, y conocer Su corazón, es algo que sólo experimentándolo podemos entender lo que significa. Dios al enviar a Su Hijo al mundo estaba diciéndonos que está interesado en que lo conozcamos, Él estaba demostrando Su profundo deseo en revelarse al ser humano y que podamos conocerlo de cerca, sin hacer acepción de personas, y este es un precioso regalo que está disponible para toda persona que quiera acercarse y conocerlo, pues Su puerta está siempre abierta para todo aquel que se acerca a Él en fe, con un corazón humilde y sincero.
Conocer a Dios es un viaje de toda una vida quizás, pues esta vida no alcanza para conocer por completo a nuestro eterno e infinito Dios. Siempre hay más que conocer de Él y siempre lo habrá, es un viaje precioso y hermoso. ¡No hay nadie como nuestro Dios!
También quisiera aprovechar la oportunidad para contarles que mi nuevo viaje de misiones está cada vez más cerca. En enero estaría empezando el entrenamiento con Adventures in Missions, y después del tiempo de entrenamiento partiríamos para nuestro tiempo de servicio en el Medio Oriente. Una vez más ¡gracias a cada uno de ustedes por su apoyo en diferentes maneras, gracias desde el fondo de mi corazón!
Por favor, no dejen de tener en sus oraciones este viaje de misiones, orando por todos los que estaremos sirviendo y por las personas a las cuales estaremos sirviendo, y por todos los preparativos y provisión necesaria para el mismo también. ¡Muchas gracias!
¡Les deseo a todos que tengan una muy Feliz Navidad y Felices Fiestas! ¡Que la dulce paz, alegría y esperanza en nuestro Señor Jesús llenen sus corazones y sus hogares en estas fiestas! Merry Christmas!
Pero el ángel dijo: No tengan miedo. Miren que traigo buenas noticias que serán motivo de mucha alegría para todo el pueblo. Hoy ha nacido en la Ciudad de David un Salvador, que es Cristo el Señor. Esto les servirá de señal: Encontrarán a un niño envuelto en pañales y acostado en un pesebre.
De repente apareció una multitud de ángeles del cielo, que alababan a Dios y decían: Gloria a Dios en las alturas, y en la tierra paz a los que gozan de su buena voluntad.

A Dios nadie lo ha visto nunca; el Hijo único, que es Dios y que vive en unión íntima con el Padre, nos lo ha dado a conocer.

Y esta es la vida eterna: que te conozcan a ti, el único Dios verdadero, y a Jesucristo, a quien tú has enviado.

We are a few days away from Christmas and it is incredible how this year has passed so fast. It has certainly been a year full of new things for me and a year to see once again the goodness and faithfulness of God over my life. It has been a year with joys and beautiful moments but also with challenges and difficult seasons on other occasions, but in each of these moments and seasons I have seen the Lord with me and He has continued to glorify His name in many different ways. Our God is so good!
People who know me closely know that I love Christmas so much! I love the colors, lights, music, movies, traditions, and much more that comes with the season! But what I love the most without a doubt is to celebrate Jesus and His extraordinary coming into this world! One of the greatest events in the history of humanity is the coming of our Lord Jesus into this world, all for love to each one of us! And reflecting on that I thought about the sweet joy, peace and hope that this represents to our hearts, and the words just fall short to express everything it means. And among the many things that Jesus came to bring to humanity I thought about how He came to reveal God to man and reveal the heart of God to man, and that is such a great privilege and gift.
Having the opportunity to know the living and true God who created each one of us and everything that exists, and to know His heart, it is something that only by experiencing it we can understand what it means. By sending His Son into this world God was telling us how interested He is that we can get to know Him. He was demonstrating His deep desire to reveal Himself to humankind and that we can get to know Him closely, and this is a precious gift that is available to anyone who wants to receive it. His door is always open to everyone who approaches Him in faith, with a humble and sincere heart.
Knowing God is a journey of a lifetime perhaps because this life is jut not enough to completely know our eternal and infinite God, there is always more to know of Him and there always will be. This is a precious and beautiful journey! There is no one like our God!
I would also like to take the opportunity to share with you that my new mission trip is getting closer! In January I would be starting the training time with Adventures in Missions and after our training we would head to the Middle East for our time of service. Once again thank you to each of you for your support in different ways, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Please keep this mission trip in your prayers, praying for all of us who we will be serving and for the people we will be serving to, and for all the preparations and provision necessary for this as well. Thank you so much!
