¿No te parece hermoso lo diverso que Dios ha creado a este mundo?
¡Cuantas criaturas, elementos, colores y formas tan distintas encontramos en toda la creación! ¡Es fascinante y hermoso!
Algo que me llama la atención es que aún en medio de toda esta diversidad tan clara que encontramos en la creación y en el diseño de Dios, las personas aún tratamos en momentos de compararnos constantemente unos con otros, tratamos de ser como otros, competir con otros, o criticarnos unos a otros en nuestras diferencias, y finalmente nos olvidamos de mirar y aceptar lo hermosamente únicos, distintos y peculiares que Dios nos hizo a cada uno. Distintos y peculiares en talentos, habilidades, roles, y en formas de ser, pero todos valiosos e importantes sin duda, ya sea en nuestro rol en la sociedad o en el Cuerpo de Cristo, que es Su iglesia.
En las escrituras hay un pasaje que habla acerca de esto, el cual es 1 Corintios 12:12-27. En este pasaje el escritor habla de la diversidad del cuerpo humano, el cual está conformado con muchas partes y miembos distintos, pero cada uno valioso, importante y necesario para que el cuerpo funcione bien y al máximo. En este pasaje el escritor muy acertadamente compara a la iglesia de Cristo con el cuerpo humano, la iglesia que así como el cuerpo humano está conformada por diferentes miembros, con funciones y roles distintos, así como habilidades y talentos distintos, pero todos valiosos, importantes y necesarios.
Hay ocasiones en las cuales Dios puede llamarnos a hacer algo o invitarnos a llevar a cabo algún trabajo o misión relacionado a Su Reino y a Su obra, y podemos pensar que aquello sólo nos incluye a nosotros y a Dios, y a nadie más, y de hecho, es todo lo contrario, ya que el mover de Dios en este mundo y el avance de Su reino y de Su obra no se trata de algún tipo de persona súper dotada o con algún super llamado por parte de Dios, se trata de Jesús con Su iglesia entera, en sus diferentes llamados y dones, quienes necesitan trabajar juntos en unidad para esto.
Cuán importante es recordar que nos necesitamos unos a otros para poder ser más efectivos y lograr cosas grandes y hermosas en el Señor para el avance de Su reino y de Su obra en este mundo que tanto necesita de Jesús. Así que sí, se trata de trabajo en equipo y estamos juntos en esto, y necesitamos de las diferentes peculiaridades, talentos, dones, habilidades, roles y llamados que Dios ha puesto en cada uno de nosotros para poder llevar adelante el trabajo en la obra de Dios y de Su reino.
Nadie es llamado a caminar en solitario con el Señor, sino somos llamados a caminar con Él junto a otros, nos necesitamos, juntos somos más fuertes, y juntos de la mano de nuestro Jesús y en dependencia de Él podemos hacer cosas grandes y hermosas que traigan gloria a Su Nombre y que sean de mucha ayuda y bendición a las personas de este mundo.
Pues el cuerpo no consiste de un solo miembro, sino de muchos. Si el pie dijera: “Porque no soy mano, no soy parte del cuerpo”, ¿por eso no sería parte del cuerpo? Y si la oreja dijera: “Porque no soy ojo, no soy parte del cuerpo”, ¿por eso no sería parte del cuerpo? Si todo el cuerpo fuese ojo, ¿dónde estaría el oído? Si todo fuese oreja, ¿dónde estaría el olfato? Pero ahora Dios ha colocado a los miembros en el cuerpo, a cada uno de ellos, como él quiso. Porque si todos fueran un solo miembro, ¿dónde estaría el cuerpo? Pero ahora son muchos los miembros y a la vez un solo cuerpo. El ojo no puede decir a la mano: “No tengo necesidad de ti”; ni tampoco la cabeza a los pies: “No tengo necesidad de ustedes”. Muy al contrario, los miembros del cuerpo que parecen ser los más débiles son indispensables…

Mejor dos que uno solo, pues tienen mejor recompensa por su trabajo. Porque si caen, el uno levantará a su compañero. Pero, ¡ay del que cae cuando no hay otro que lo levante! También si dos duermen juntos se abrigarán mutuamente. Pero, ¿cómo se abrigará uno solo? Y si uno es atacado por alguien, si son dos, prevalecerán contra él. Y un cordel triple no se rompe tan pronto.

Isn’t it beautiful how diverse God has created the world?
How many different creatures, elements, colors and shapes we find in all of creation! It is fascinating and beautiful!
Something that surprise me is that even in the midst of all this clear diversity that we find in God’s creation and design, people still try at times to constantly compare themselves with others, try to be like others, compete with others, or criticize others in their differences, forgetting to look at and accept how beautifully unique, different and peculiar God has made each of us. Different and peculiar in talents, abilities, roles, and ways of being , but all undoubtedly valuable and important, either in our role in society or in the Body of Christ, which is His church.
In the Scriptures there is a passage that talks about this, which is 1 Corinthians 12:12-27. In this passage the writer talks about how diverse the human body is, which is made up of many different parts and members but each one valuable, important and necessary for the body to function in a good and appropriate way. In this passage the writer very accurately compares the church of Christ with the human body, he explains that just as the human body is made up of different parts and members so it is the church. The church is made up of different people with different functions and roles, as well as different abilities and talents, but all of them valuable, important and necessary.
There are times when God may call us to do something in His Name or invite us to carry out some work or mission for His Kingdom and we may think that this is related only to us and God, and no one else, and in fact it is quite the opposite, since the move of God in this world and the advancement of His Kingdom and His work is not about some kind of super gifted person or with some super calling from God, it’s about Jesus with His entire church, in their different callings and gifts who need to work together in unity as a team for this.
How important it is to remember that we need each other in order to be more effective and achieve great and beautiful things in the Lord for the advancement of His kingdom and His work in this world that needs of Jesus so much. So yes, it’s about teamwork and we’re in this together, and we need the different peculiarities, talents, gifts, abilities, roles and callings that God has placed in each of us for the advancement of His kingdom in the world.
No one is called to walk alone with the Lord, but we are called to walk with Him together side by side with others. We need each other, together we are stronger, and together with our Jesus and in dependence of Him we can do great and beautiful things that bring glory to His Name and be instruments in His hands for helping and blessing others in a great deal.
Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many. Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be? But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable…

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.
