¿Alguna vez te has detenido a pensar en lo mucho que Dios ama a este mundo? Dios ama a este mundo de una manera intensa, profunda, y más allá de lo que podemos entender o explicar con nuestras palabras.
Dios ama con Su inexplicable amor a cada persona en este mundo, sin importar su raza, idioma, nacionalidad, estatus social, talentos, habilidades, o títulos. Él desea que cada persona en este mundo pueda llegar a conocer al Dios verdadero que desde el vientre de su madre los formó y amó, y les dio vida para que puedan vivir en una relación personal y cercana con Él, y experimentar junto a Él de todo lo bueno que Él tiene para darles. Dios ama a cada persona en cada continente, país, o ciudad alrededor del mundo, su amor cruza todas las fronteras o barreras existentes en el mundo.
Hay unos versos que se encuentran en el libro de Apocalipsis que me encantan, y que conmueven mucho mi corazón con respecto a esto:
Después de esto miré, y apareció una multitud tomada de todas las naciones, tribus, pueblos y lenguas; era tan grande que nadie podía contarla. Estaban de pie delante del trono y del Cordero, vestidos de túnicas blancas y con ramas de palma en la mano. Gritaban a gran voz:
¡La salvación viene de nuestro Dios, que está sentado en el trono, y del Cordero!
(Apocalipsis 7: 9-10)
¡Que hermosas palabras! ¡Una multitud con personas de todas las naciones, tribus, pueblos y lenguas! Definitivamente, Dios no hace acepción de personas, y en su corazón están las personas de todo este grande y diverso mundo.
Y así como Dios tiene un corazón lleno de amor hacia cada persona en este mundo, creo que es importante que también tratemos de tenerlo. ¿Qué hubiera pasado si hombres como Pablo no hubieran estado dispuestos a ser instrumentos en las manos de Dios y cruzar fronteras o barreras en diversas ciudades o países, por amor a las personas en esos lugares? Pablo estuvo dispuesto a no poner límites a donde Dios quería llevarlo, para que así otros puedan recibir las buenas nuevas de Jesús en distintos lugares.
Otra historia que viene a mi memoria es la historia de Jonás, y aunque Jonás es lo opuesto a Pablo, ya que inicialmente no quiso ir a donde Dios quería enviarlo y huyó, en esta historia vemos la insistencia de Dios por enviarlo a que vaya a transmitir el mensaje que Él quería que sea anunciado a las personas de una ciudad llamada Nínive. En el libro de Jonás hay unos versos que me encantan y que dejan ver el corazón de Dios lleno de compasión por las personas de este mundo:
El Señor le dijo: Tú te compadeces de una planta que, sin ningún esfuerzo de tu parte, creció en una noche y en la otra pereció. Y de Nínive, una gran ciudad donde hay más de ciento veinte mil personas que no distinguen su derecha de su izquierda, y tanto ganado, ¿no habría yo de compadecerme?
(Jonás 4:10-11)
Hace un par de días atrás tuve la oportunidad de ver una película que desarrolla su historia en África. En esta película en un momento uno de los personajes dice unas palabras que tocaron mi corazón, no recuerdo las palabras exactas pero en un momento se refiere a África como el continente del cual Dios ya se fue hace mucho tiempo, o como el continente ya olvidado por Dios. Estas palabras tocaron mi corazón y me hicieron sentir una tristeza profunda, ya que me hicieron pensar que quizás por los diferentes problemas duros que enfrenta este continente, pueden haber personas que se sientan exactamente así, pero Dios no se ha olvidado ni se ha ido de África, ni de ningún otro continente o país alrededor del mundo, pues Dios es grande en amor, gracia, misericordia, y compasión para con este mundo, y quiere que todos puedan volver su corazón a Él.
También, recientemente tuve la oportunidad de ver otra película, y esta película se centra en la vida de un hombre admirado y considerado quizás exitoso ante los ojos de la sociedad, pero que a pesar de su talento, fama y dinero, vivió su vida por mucho tiempo con un vacío enorme en su interior, un vacío que sólo Dios podía llenar sin duda, necesitado desesperadamente por un encuentro real con Jesús y con Su amor real e incondicional. Aparte del vacío y necesidad enorme que este hombre llevaba en su interior, se rodeó también de personas egoístas, que en lugar de ayudarlo lo hundían más, o no hacían simplemente nada al respecto por tratar de realmente ayudarlo, y solamente buscaban qué beneficio podían obtener de él. ¡Que triste! Y hay muchas personas que viven exactamente así en este mundo, grandemente necesitadas de Dios y de Su amor real e incondicional, con un enorme vacío en su interior, rodeadas de personas incorrectas y egoístas, y sin alguien que vaya por ellos y que quiera realmente ayudarlos en amor y compasión.
He entendido que nosotros como seguidores de Jesús, somos sus representantes aquí en el mundo, y somos los llamados a comunicar y mostrar al mundo que Dios no se ha olvidado de ellos, que Dios no los ha dejado, y que ellos son muy amados e importantes para Él, y que Él quiere tenerlos cerca y traer a sus vidas el amor real, incondicional y único, que en Él podemos siempre encontrar, así como también, la salvación, esperanza, vida, reconciliación, perdón de pecados, paz ,alegría, identidad, seguridad, paternidad, descanso, restauración, libertad, sanidad, fuerzas nuevas, y mucho más, que sólo en Él encontramos.
Dios nos invita a ser parte de Su buena obra en el mundo, ¡y que privilegio es poder hacer equipo con Jesús, y ser parte de Su grande y buena obra aquí en el mundo! Este mundo lo necesita, y mucho.

Have you ever stopped to think about how much God loves this world? God loves this world in a deep and intense way, and beyond what we can understand or explain with our words.
God loves with great love to each person in this world, regardless of his race, language, nationality, social status, talents, abilities, or titles. He wants each person in this world comes to know Him and comes to know the true God who formed them in their mother’s womb and loved them from the very beginning, and gave them life so they can live in a personal and close relationship with Him, and experience all the good that He has to give them. God loves every person in every continent, country, or city around the world, His love crosses all existing borders or barriers in the world.
There are some verses in the book of Revelation that I love and move my heart:
After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice:
Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.
(Revelation 7:9-10)
What beautiful words! A crowd with people from all nations, tribes, and languages! Undoubtedly, God doesn’t show favoritism and in His heart is every person of this big and diverse world.
And just as God has a heart full of love towards every person in this world, I think it’s important that we try to have it too. What would have happened if men like Paul had not been willing to be instruments in God’s hands and been willing to cross borders or barriers in different cities or countries for love of the people in those places? Paul was willing to put no limits on where God wanted to send him, so that others could receive the good news of Jesus in different places.
Another story that comes to mind is the story of Jonah, and although Jonah is the opposite of Paul since initially he didn’t want to go where God wanted to send him and he ran away, in this story we do see God’s insistence to send him to communicate the message that He wanted to be announced to the people of a city called Nineveh. In the book of Jonah there are some verses that I love and show the heart of God full of compassion for the people of this world:
But the Lord said, You have been concerned about this plant, though you did not tend it or make it grow. It sprang up overnight and died overnight. And should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than a hundred and twenty thousand people who cannot tell their right hand from their left—and also many animals?
(Jonah 4:10-11)
A couple of days ago I had the opportunity to watch a movie which story takes place in Africa. In this movie in a moment one of the characters says some words that touched my heart, I don’t remember the exact words right now but he said something referring to Africa as the continent from which God had left a long time ago, or as the continent forgotten by God. These words touched my heart and made me feel a deep sadness, and made me think that perhaps because of the different hard problems this continent faces there might be people there who might feel exactly like this, but God has not forgotten them or has left Africa, nor any other continent or country around the world. God is great in love, grace, mercy, and compassion towards this world, and He wants everyone to be able to turn their hearts to Him.
Also, recently I had the opportunity to watch another movie which focuses on the life of an admired man, a man considered as a successful man in the eyes of society maybe, but despite his talent, fame and money, he lived his life for a long time with a huge emptiness inside him, an emptiness that only God could fill undoubtedly. This man lived in a enormous need for a real encounter with Jesus and with His real and unconditional love. In addition to the great emptiness and need this man carried inside him, he surrounded himself with selfish people, people who instead of helping him sank him even more, or simply did nothing for truly trying to help him, and were only looking for what benefit they could get from him. How sad! And there are many people who live in this world just like this, they live in a great need for God and for His real and unconditional love, with a huge emptiness inside them, surrounded by wrong and selfish people, and without someone who wants to go for them and truly wants to help them in love and compassion.
I have understood that we as followers of Jesus, we are his representatives here in the world, and we are the ones called to communicate and show to this world that God hasn’t forgotten them, that God hasn’t left them, and that they are extremely loved and important to Him and that He wants to keep them close to Him and bring to their lives the real, unconditional and unique love that is found in Him, as well as salvation, hope, life, reconciliation, forgiveness of sins, peace, joy, identity, security, parenthood, rest, restoration, freedom, healing, new strength, and so much more, that only He can give us.
God invites us to be part of His good work in the world, and what a privilege it is to be able to team up with Jesus, and be part of His great and good work here in the world! This world needs it and needs it so much.
